Kid's Corner

This creative exercise asked the children to draw a flag that represents them. Below is a selection of their efforts.

Rafael Galvez Ramos (3A) - I drew an Astronaut and a martian because I would like to go to space and see our planet from there. My flag represents my biggest dream.

Creative Writing Competition for our Secondary School Students!

Masami (who regularly translates for EFTC) set up an English competition for our secondary school students - the challenge was to submit a creative writing piece; in English!!

Masami said it was incredibly emotional to read all the essays as they really brought out the feelings and emotions of the students.  She said it was very hard to pick a winner but in the end decided on Aura Francisca Apen's entry 'Study as if it was an eternity and live as if you would die tomorrow'.  "Aura highlights the importance of working for the future and being happy in the present, so that even if life finished tomorrow we would all be happy to have lived every single day of our lives."
