NGO in Guatemala breaking the Cycle of Poverty through Education

Sponsor a child

It’s easy for one person to make an impact
Sponsor a child and change their life forever!

By sponsoring a child, you will provide all the benefits the students receive from a full education and the support and care they need. You will join a dedicated community of sponsors and supporters and receive letters from your child with photos and reports. You could become a friend and mentor to them as they work towards a brighter future for themselves and their families.

What does it mean to be a Sponsor?

As a sponsor, you are more than just someone far away supporting a child's education - you are also a mentor and a friend. You are, similar to the Spanish word "padrino", like a godfather or a godmother. At EFTC we encourage communication between our sponsors and our students. You will receive a letter at least twice a year, with a current photo and an English translation.
Many of our sponsors develop a close relationship over the years with their child. We also encourage our sponsors to come and visit our school, take a tour, meet their sponsor child, and even visit their family!

We need sponsors!
Meet our Kindergarten students, they're new in school and eager to learn!
