Our ambassador Shaun Wright-Phillips visits Guatemala for the third time....

On Tuesday 24th May 2011 Shaun Wright-Phillips along with family and friends made the trip over to our project in Guatemala. We are so thrilled that he has taken the time out to visit our new school and spend some time with the children, especially as the volcanic ash threatened to delay the trip!!!
Whilst he is there as well as being a part of every day life at the school; he will be involved in a medical day, our children have limited access to healthcare so this is a great opportunity for Shaun to see some of the problems they encounter on a day to day basis; he will also go and visit where some of our children live.
Shaun will obviously be involved in several football matches!! and we are hoping Julie Chappell (British Ambassador) will join him for an afternoon.
We can't thank Shaun and his family enough for their support over the last few years. His trip not only gives us huge publicity and allows us to raise more awareness but also and more importantly makes a huge difference to the lives of our children.
Keep checking this page for updates on Shaun's trip.
