He started in Reception in 2007, at our school Escuela Proyecto La Esperanza.
Since then we have had several doctors opinions in Guatemala and originally it was thought that he was suffering from 'aplastic anaemia' which is very rare in young children. It was eventually confirmed that he has Leukaemia and he is now receiving treatment in Guatemala.
He is responding well to treatment and we hope that he will return as a full time student in 2009.
