About the challenge

Viewed as one of the UK’s ultimate challenges, this will see you climbing three of the highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales.. with the aim of completing the challenge in one day!

This is a great alternative to our popular Big Volcano Climb for all those amongst you who would like to take on a challenge event and raise vital funds for the children at our school in Guatemala.

On the Saturday morning the group will meet at EFTC's Nottingham office and our mini-bus will take us to Ben Nevis. We begin our afternoon ascent of Ben Nevis (1,344m) before climbing into the bus for some well-deserved rest on the drive to Cumbria. As morning breaks you’ll begin your climb of Scafell Pike (978m) and then we’ll head to Wales to complete your final mountain, Snowdon (1,085m) from the late afternoon into the night.

Included in the trip are expert mountain guides and first aiders from Mountain and Glen, round trip transport from Nottingham to the peaks, some snacks and bottled water plus a challenge t-shirt.

Three countries, over three thousand metres of ascent and one amazing experience…join Team EFTC today!

“I was looking for a mid-life adventure when a friend suggested I look at EFTC's website. I wasn’t disappointed-  taking part in the Three Peaks Challenge was the opportunity of a lifetime.”

Whether you want to complete the Three Peaks as a personal challenge or with a group of friends, we'd love to have you join our team!

As well as being a tremendous personal challenge and good fun, you will also be raising vital funds to help improve the lives of children living in poverty.

We ask each challenger to raise a minimum sponsorship of £385. Think you’re a real tough nut?

Join EFTC this Saturday 1st September for the Nuts Challenge, one of the most challenging army assault courses out there!

As well as being a tremendous personal challenge and good fun, you will also be raising vital funds to help improve the lives of children living in poverty.

The course in Surrey was designed by the British Special Forces and it has featured on Britain’s Next Top Model, the Apprentice, Celebrity Fit Club and many more. Don’t let this put you off, you don’t have to be super fit to take part as you can complete just one circuit of the course if you like. Or, if you’re a real ‘Tough Nut’, the event organisers suggest you complete the course a further three times!

Fundraising Team Conquers 3 Peak Challenge 2011

A team of nine challengers climbed three of the highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales in an impressive 27.5 hours to raise money for Education for the Children Foundation.

Our first Three Peaks Challenge over the August Bank Holiday weekend was a great success and the team raised in excess of £3,800 to date! The challenge started at Ben Nevis in Scotland, moved onto Scafell Pike in the Lake District and finished at Snowdon in North Wales.

Worcester support comes out in force for EFTC

The final week of July saw the start of our new-found support base in Worcester.

It began with a fantastic donation from the Worcester-based Joanna Brown Trust for £1044.47. The Joanna Brown Trust encourages involvement in sport and provides people with an opportunity to experience sport and excel in it. Their donation will be spent on much needed sports equipment such as footballs, basketballs, volleyballs, bibs and cones.

On Friday 29th July, Victoria Taylor and Cady Walker hosted a Worcester business networking evening, called Network 4 Charity. Many new faces were introduced to the charity for the first time and several people were interested in our 2012 Volcano Challenge!

A massive thank you to the fabulous hosts, Vick and Cady, for taking time out of their busy schedules to organise the evening; it was no small feat and their support and time is greatly appreciated. Also thanks to ClarkeWood Consulting and The Lighthouse for sponsoring tables and SPD Print Limited for sponsoring the Champagne Reception.

A special thanks to Lee Clarke, from ClarkeWood Consulting, for being such a fantastic auction bidder. He certainly helped raise EFTC’s total amount from the night which was a fantastic £2,800!
