British Embassy Dinner, Guatemala - 16th April 2010
The event was a fantastic success! British Ambassador to Guatemala Julie Chappell is an avid supporter of EFTC and organised this dinner to raise funds for EFTC and another British NGO in Guatemala - Study Abroad. EFTC received $10,500 US from what was an amazing night.
A huge thank you to Julie Chappell who is also now sitting on our Guatemala Committee.
La Azotea Lunch, Guatemala - 18th April 2010
The Guatemala Committee arranged a beautiful fundraising event which raised in the region of $1,200 US on April 18th 2010 in the grounds of the Azotea where our new school is being built. The event was attended by around 150 people amongst the leafy green gardens of the Azotea and many new local contacts and supporters were made on the afternoon. Thank you to all who attended and helped to arrange the event.
