Christmas gifts that really make a difference.
We are always incredibly touched by people's generosity at this time of year and can't emphasise enough what a difference your donations make.
For Christmas 2009, we raised a total of £4,163 (including gift aid) thanks to your kindness and generosity.
You provided 59 Christmas Hampers on Christmas Eve to some of our poorest families within the foundation. The hampers were stuffed to the brim with nutritious food and supplies and included items such as; sugar, salt, rice, beans, pasta, fruit, porridge, oil, coffee and soup. During the festive season these hampers were a lifeline to many of our families.
You also paid for nearly 2,000 meals for hungry tummies; provided 270 kilos of rice for our school kitchen; donated over 4,000 bananas; provided psychological support; bought 18 sets of texts books; and bought 15 children brand new shoes.
We hope you like the photos below and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support this year.
