Below is a copy of our new Child Protection Policy.
As the Foundation has grown, we have become increasingly aware of our duty to protect the children at our project, and all of the visitors, volunteers and supporters who become involved.
In 2009 the Trustees of the Foundation instructed that a formal document should be drafted, published and made available to all.
We hope that this document will help our staff, supporters, sponsors, volunteers and visitors understand how to have the best possible impact on the project through appropriate behaviour and actions.
There are individual sections which must be signed by staff and visitors to the project in Guatemala.
