Kev Mac Coast to Coast Bike Ride

On the 18th June 2009 Kev Mac donned his lycra cycling shorts and along with a couple of friends cycled from St Bees to Robin Hood's Bay to raise money for EFTC.  This was a massive challenge and involved Kevin cycling 214 miles over 4 days!!

Kevin started at St Bees on the Cumbrian Coast, the route then crossed the Lakeland fells, the Pennine Uplands, the Yorkshire Dales, the Cleveland Hills and finally the North Yorkshire Moors before Kevin and friends reached the lovely old fishing village of Robin Hood's Bay on Yorkshire's East Coast.

Kev has been quoted as saying the only part of him that doesn't ache is his plastic knee!!!  Well done Kev and a huge thank you from all the children in Guatemala.......
